Detection & repair
Leak repair
Complete the agreed plumbing repair after a reasoned investigation.
How will the pipe be reached and checked?
Once suitable evidence identifies the repair requirement, we discuss access and complete the agreed plumbing work. Parts and materials for that repair are included. Appropriate post-repair checks and the Trace & Access report give you a record of the work and any relevant observations.
A useful starting point
Confirm who can approve access, and mention any known pipe materials or earlier alterations.
Tell us about any earlier investigation, even if it did not identify the source. Knowing which checks were made and what access was available helps us decide what remains useful.
Choose a test that answers a question
Pressure testing may be useful where the conditions and pipe arrangement suit it. A pressure change does not identify a location on its own, and test conditions can affect interpretation.
An investigation can combine methods. We explain the findings and their limits, including when the evidence does not yet justify an opening.
Agree access before the repair
The package is for the agreed repair scope, not an unlimited replacement of unrelated pipework. Decorative making good and remedial building work are excluded.
Once the proposed work is clear, the agreed plumbing repair is completed with the necessary parts and materials. Suitable checks follow the repair, and the report records relevant observations, work and any remaining matters.
