Flow Detect
A record you can follow.
The Trace & Access report brings the investigation and agreed plumbing work together.
What the record is for
Keep the report with your property and repair documents. It should explain the reported concern, the relevant investigation, access and plumbing work within the instruction.
Evidence and limits
The record needs to distinguish observations from conclusions. Access restrictions, test limitations and matters requiring a separate investigation are relevant to understanding the outcome.
If an insurer needs it
Tell us about reporting requirements before the visit. Your insurer decides how the policy applies, including authorisation, cover and reimbursement. A report is supporting evidence, not a promise of claim approval.
After the work
Retain the report and booking details. They give a useful starting point if a sign returns or another trade needs to understand the plumbing repair.
