Detection & repair
Driveway water leaks
Trace suspected supply losses beneath hard surfaces.
What lies beneath the wet patch?
Pipe history, meter position and accessible ends help establish a route to investigate. Acoustic methods or tracer testing may narrow the search before excavation is planned. Nearby services and the practical way to reach the pipe also inform the opening.
A useful starting point
Explain whether vehicles can be moved and whether the drive is shared. Provide any record of earlier pipe repairs.
Tell us about any earlier investigation, even if it did not identify the source. Knowing which checks were made and what access was available helps us decide what remains useful.
Choose a test that answers a question
Leak noise correlation may be useful where the conditions and pipe arrangement suit it. Uncertain routes, mixed materials, weak signals and inaccessible fittings can limit usefulness.
An investigation can combine methods. We explain the findings and their limits, including when the evidence does not yet justify an opening.
Agree access before the repair
Replacing the finished driveway surface is excluded. Authorisation is required before disturbing a shared or third-party surface.
Once the proposed work is clear, the agreed plumbing repair is completed with the necessary parts and materials. Suitable checks follow the repair, and the report records relevant observations, work and any remaining matters.
